About

CJM, or Chelsea, (she/her) is a mostly self-taught comic creator who hails from the Bronx. Growing up, she’d always loved action-packed films, cool heroines, and cute animals. As the TezraTandem duo, she is the creator, artist and writer of her award-nominated comic series, TEZRA, with her editing partner, Anisah. Her passion is in creating and exploring multi-faceted Black women in fantastical worlds, being the hero, the villain and everything in between.
